EMOM stands for "Every Minute On the Minute”, and is a form of high-intensity interval training (or HIIT workout).
We use two types of EMOM:
1) Rep-based: The goal with this workout is to complete a certain number of reps of a particular exercise within 60 seconds, and to use whatever time is left in that minute to rest.
2) Time-based: The goal here is to do reps continuously for a certain amount of time, and then you get the rest of the minute to rest.
EMOM workouts are great to include in your exercise routine because they help you build muscle, stamina and endurance.
