When we say 'form' in an exercise setting, it refers to your technique.
Good form varies depending on the individual, scenario and exercise but it is based on employing efficient body mechanics, to maximise the available strength and energy of your movement. Good form also ensures you are working the correct body areas in the correct way, which is why we think it's so important.
Ultimately, good form is really important in workouts because it allows you to reap all the benefits of your movement. Form is also very motivational and aspirational; we can always improve and progress as we strive for perfection!
Our head trainer Simon has written a blog piece all about form and its importance, so please feel free to take a read if you want to learn more.
